Renal Physician
Dr Ramanathan obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne.
He went on to train in three different states including Victoria (The Austin Hospital & The Northern Hospital), Northern Territory (Royal Darwin Hospital) and NSW at The Wollongong Public Hospital.
He has extensive dialysis experience from his time in the Northern Territory and transplant experience from the Royal North Shore and the Price of Wales Hospitals.
Clinical interests include management of hypertension and electrolyte disorder, chronic kidney disease and dialysis and has published articles in the areas of dialysis and glomerulonephritis.
He currently works in Bowral & District Hospital and Goulburn Base Hospital.
