Natalia is a compassionate & dedicated psychologist who specialises in delivering assessment, evidence based treatment and counselling for a variety of mental health concerns. Natalia has worked as a registered psychologist since 2007 providing counselling to individuals with complex mental health presentations within South Western Sydney & Inner Sydney local health districts.
Natalia has extensive experience in hospital inpatient psychiatric settings, acute crisis community mental health services and private practice. She has had a special interest in Perinatal Mental Health since 2014 working with Tresillian, NSW Health South West Sydney Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service (PIMHS).
Natalia uses a variety of therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness Practice, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) and Attachment based interventions such as Positive Parenting, Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) and Matre Meo to support the parent-infant relationship. Natalia is an accredited Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) and Matre Meo practitioner, as well as an approved Victim’s Services Counsellor.
Natalia is currently facilitating psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups focusing on managing Perinatal Depression, Anxiety and Birth Trauma. Her time is dedicated to supporting women, their baby’s and their partners through the first years together to provide the earliest intervention focusing on building a strong, secure and loving bond.
